. Our class is having a 55th year picnic on Sept 19, 2009 at Lake Jacomo shelter # 9.
Lunch will be catered by HyVee and the cost is $15 per person.
It will be from 12:00pm till dusk. Also there will be a VIP tour of the WW1 memorial.
Don Turrentine will lead the tour, which begins at 10:30. Contact Don at dg7146@aol .com for more details.
Plans are to eat at around 1:00pm so everyone should have plenty of time to attend both the tour and picnic.
We also have an alternate site for the picnic in case of rain/storms etc.

We are also going to have a guided tour of the Truman Library on Saturday, September 18th, 2004 at 10 am. We have to know how many 1954 East Graduates that want to attend to make reservations for the Library tour.

Also on Saturday, September 18th, 2004, in the afternoon at 1 pm we are going to meet at Cool Crest minature golf course to play "again". No reservations needed for this, just show up. I think most of East High students took their dates to Cool Crest at one time or another.
